These terms apply to giveaways and prize draws run by Detectorist Guide unless different terms are specifically stated for an individual giveaway.

1. Promoter

The promoter is Detectorist Guide. Contact: andrew@detectoristguide.com

2. Eligibility

Giveaways are open to UK residents aged 18 or over unless otherwise stated. No purchase is necessary. Anyone directly involved in organising the giveaway, and members of their immediate household, are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter

Entry instructions, opening dates and closing dates will be shown on the relevant giveaway page. Only one entry per person is permitted unless otherwise stated. Late entries will not be included.

4. Prize

The prize will be as described on the relevant giveaway page. There is no cash alternative. If the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside Detectorist Guide’s reasonable control, a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted.

5. Winner Selection

Unless otherwise stated, the winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries received before the closing date.

6. Winner Notification

The winner will be contacted using the details supplied when entering and should respond within 14 days. If they do not respond, cannot be contacted, or are found to be ineligible, another winner may be selected.

7. Prize Delivery

Detectorist Guide will arrange delivery of the prize within the UK at no cost to the winner unless otherwise stated.

8. Personal Information

Personal information will be used to administer the giveaway, contact the winner and arrange prize delivery. Entering a giveaway does not automatically constitute consent to receive marketing communications. Where entrants separately choose to join the DG Community, they may unsubscribe at any time.

9. Disqualification

Detectorist Guide may disqualify entries where there are reasonable grounds to believe these terms have been breached, false information has been supplied, or an entrant has attempted to manipulate the giveaway.

10. Changes or Cancellation

Detectorist Guide may amend, suspend or cancel a giveaway where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.

11. Social Media Platforms

Unless specifically stated otherwise, Detectorist Guide giveaways are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Meta, TikTok or any other social-media platform used to promote them.

12. General

By entering a Detectorist Guide giveaway, entrants agree to these terms and any additional conditions displayed for the particular giveaway.
